Padel Life: Road to Pro

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 August 2026

1. Controller and contact

Padel Life: Road to Pro is provided by No_idea Games, the trading name of Tiago Costa, an individual developer based in Portugal.

Privacy contact: info@padelroadtopro.com.

2. Data stored locally

The game stores career progress, settings, legal consent, optional diagnostics consent, a self-declared age range and portable backup data on the device. It also keeps small local counters used to decide when an update notice or a review prompt may be shown. It does not request or store a date of birth. The game has no player account and does not upload save contents, the selected age range or those counters. Local data can be removed through the game’s save controls or by clearing/uninstalling the Android application.

Optional reminders are scheduled as local Android notifications. Their content is produced on the device and is not sent to any server.

3. Update check

To check whether an update is available, the game requests a small version file from https://padelroadtopro.com over HTTPS. The request contains no player account, save data, advertising ID or diagnostics identifier. As with a normal web request, the hosting infrastructure may process the IP address and standard request metadata to deliver the file and protect the service. If the service is unavailable, the game continues normally.

4. Optional diagnostics

Anonymous diagnostics are disabled by default and are unavailable to players who select an age range under 18. An adult player may opt in under Settings > Privacy, after which the game uses Sentry to process:

  • crash reports, handled errors, ANRs and native tombstones;
  • app version, release, operating system and device model;
  • a random installation identifier and a derived anonymous career identifier;
  • aggregate app interactions and game metrics such as progression buckets, match outcomes, tournament actions, tactics, economy changes and save status.

The game configures Sentry not to send player names, save contents, backup codes, clipboard contents, screenshots, view hierarchy, advertising IDs, hardware IDs, email addresses, usernames or IP addresses. Unity console logs and failed network requests are not collected automatically.

Purpose: diagnose stability problems, prevent loss of progress, understand aggregate progression and improve game balance. Legal basis in the EEA/UK: consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time in Settings. Withdrawal stops new diagnostic transmission.

Sentry acts as a service provider/data processor. Its current legal and security information is available at sentry.io/legal and sentry.io/security. Diagnostic data may be processed outside the player’s country under Sentry’s applicable contractual safeguards.

The ad-supported version uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). Before requesting ads, UMP checks whether a privacy message or choice is required. Depending on the player’s region, age treatment, consent choices and device settings, Google may process and share:

  • IP address and approximate location inferred from it;
  • app launches, ad impressions, taps, video views and other ad interactions;
  • app/SDK diagnostics and performance information;
  • advertising ID, app set ID and other device or account identifiers where permitted.

Google uses this information to deliver ads, measure performance, cap frequency, provide analytics and prevent fraud or abuse. Available modes can include personalized, non-personalized, limited or technical ad delivery. The game provides an entry point to revisit ad privacy choices when UMP requires it.

The game does not show banner or app-open ads. Interstitials are limited to natural breaks after completed matches, with local match-count and time-based frequency controls. Google’s privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Before advertising, a neutral screen asks for an age range. Players under 13 cannot continue. Requests for the 13-15 and 16-17 ranges are marked for age-restricted treatment and limited to teen-rated ad content. The selection is used locally to keep Sentry disabled for players under 18 and is not included in Sentry events.

6. Purchase to remove ads

The game offers a one-time, non-consumable remove_ads product through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes payment and returns product, purchase state, receipt and purchase-token information needed to grant and restore the entitlement. No_idea Games does not receive card or bank-account details.

The entitlement is checked with Google Play at startup and can be restored after reinstallation or on another device using the same eligible Google Play account. A local entitlement cache keeps ads disabled temporarily when the store is offline. When Google Play successfully reports that the entitlement was revoked or refunded, ads can resume subject to privacy choices.

7. In-app review

After a positive moment in a career, the game may show Google Play’s in-app review dialog. The dialog is provided and controlled by Google Play, which may choose not to show it. Any review submitted through it is handled by Google under its own terms and appears on the store listing under the player’s Google account profile. The game receives no review content and no identity information from this flow; it only records on the device that a request was made, so that the prompt is not repeated.

8. Retention and deletion

Local career data remains until the player deletes it or removes the app.

Diagnostic data is retained for 30 days, after which it is deleted or anonymized. A player may request access or deletion using the privacy contact. Requests should include the anonymous installation ID only when the support team explains how to obtain it safely.

Ad and purchase data is retained by Google under its applicable policies and the player’s Google account/device controls. Players can reset or delete the Android advertising ID and can contact info@padelroadtopro.com for privacy requests.

9. Sharing and sale

No_idea Games does not sell personal data. Optional diagnostic data is transferred to Sentry and its subprocessors for monitoring and analytics. Advertising data is transferred to Google and its advertising partners according to the UMP choices and Google’s policies. Purchase and review data is processed by Google Play.

10. Security

Diagnostic data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to the Sentry project and release credentials is limited to the developer. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. Children

The game is not designed for children under 13, and the age screen blocks that range. The intended Play Store target audience starts at 13, subject to the equivalent minimum age in each country. Advertising shown to adolescent users is requested with age-restricted treatment. Optional Sentry diagnostics remain unavailable to every player who selects an age range under 18.

12. Rights

Depending on location, players may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, receive portable data and complain to a supervisory authority. Contact the controller to exercise them.

13. Changes

Material changes will update the effective date and, where required, trigger a new in-game notice or consent version.
