Arlo: A SkyAdventure

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 10 October 2026

1. Controller and contact

Arlo: A SkyAdventure is made by No_idea Games (No Idea Games), the trading name of Tiago Costa, an individual developer based in Portugal.

Privacy contact: hello@noidea.games.

2. The short version

Arlo doesn’t collect personal data. It has no player account, no advertising, no analytics and no crash reporting, and the game itself doesn’t connect to any server of ours.

3. Data stored on your computer

The game saves your progress (records, banked Sparks, workshop upgrades, weapons, gods beaten, achievements and letters found) and your settings (language, controls, display and sound) in a folder in your user profile on the computer where you play. This data never leaves your computer through the game.

You can delete it at any time by removing the game’s save folder or uninstalling the game.

4. Steam

Arlo is sold and installed through Steam, run by Valve Corporation. Valve processes your Steam account, purchases and play activity under the Steam Privacy Policy.

Steam features such as achievements, leaderboards or Steam Cloud saves, when the game uses them, work through your Steam account and are handled by Valve. A leaderboard shows your Steam name and score to other players. As the developer, we only see the aggregated reports Steam gives developers, such as sales, wishlists and overall play statistics, not information that identifies you.

5. Contacting us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and delete them when the conversation is over unless the law requires us to keep them.

6. Children

The game doesn’t collect personal data from anyone, including children.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and object to or restrict its processing. Write to hello@noidea.games. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt), or to the authority where you live.

8. Changes

If a future version adds anything that sends data from the game, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date at the top will change.
